Safe Use Of Overhead, Swing Jib and Pedestal Cranes
The purpose of this course is to raise awareness of the hazards in lifting operations and to provide the basic underpinning knowledge in the safe operation of overhead travelling cranes, gantry cranes, swing jib cranes and hoists. This intervention is intended for those that operate or supervise lifting operations when using Overhead Travelling Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Swing Jib Cranes and Hoists.

Lifting Accessory Inspection
This intervention will enable the delegate to gain a better understanding of the LOLER Regulations 1998 and the practical experience of inspecting lifting Accessories. This course is a combination of both theory and practical content.
On successful completion of this training the delegate will:
Be familiar with regulations regarding inspection of lifting accessories.
Be able to identify and describe conditions necessitating replacement of lifting accessories and make qualified judgments' on the serviceability of accessories.

The Law and Safe Lifting Practices
This training course has been designed to complement our Safe Use of Overhead Cranes course and is intended to provide a greater depth of knowledge with regard to the regulations pertaining to the use of overhead cranes and lifting accessories. It explores the safety aspects of using cranes and lifting accessories with emphasis on the reduction of working load limits for lifting equipment when used in their different mode factors and highlights the effects of slinging angles upon the working load limits of commonly used accessories.
