Celebrating Success: WDS Components Limited Delegates Complete Safe Use of Overhead Cranes and Lifting Accessories Training
Graham Howard Consulting are delighted to announce the successful completion of the Safe Use of Overhead Cranes and Lifting Accessories course by a cohort from WDS Components Limited, based in Pudsey, Leeds.
Over the course of the training, delegates demonstrated outstanding commitment to learning and upskilling in the critical areas of crane operation and lifting safety. The programme, designed to provide a solid foundation in the safe and effective use of overhead cranes and associated lifting equipment, covered key topics including:
- Understanding the legal responsibilities related to lifting operations.
- Pre-use inspection procedures.
- Correct selection and safe use of lifting accessories.
- Safe lifting techniques and signalling.
- Risk assessment and hazard awareness in lifting environments.
Throughout the day, the WDS Components team engaged enthusiastically with both the theoretical and practical elements of the course, showing a strong focus on improving workplace safety and operational efficiency. Their hands-on approach and willingness to apply best practices to real-world scenarios was excellent.
By completing this course, WDS Components has taken an important step towards reinforcing a culture of safety and excellence within their operations. We are incredibly proud to have worked alongside such a professional and motivated group, and we are confident they will bring their new and/or refreshed knowledge and skills back into their daily work to benefit their colleagues and the wider business.
Congratulations once again to all the delegates on your achievement — and a big thank you to WDS Components Limited for their commitment to safety and professional development.
